For a while now, Star Wars fans have been wondering who the female protagonist Rey's mother and father are. A little while back, J.J. Abrams revealed that Rey's parents were not characters in the new 2015 movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, defeating popular theories, like Luke Skywalker and Han and Leia. So, that means it is probably one of these:
I personally think Rey's father is Boba Fett, and her mother is Asajj Ventress. Think about it: Boba Fett is still alive (yes, he escaped the Sarlacc), he rules, and he wasn't in the new movie. Neither was Ventress.
A second possibility is that Rey is a clone. She could be a clone of Jango Fett, like most clones, or she could be a clone of someone else. Maybe she could be the female clone of Anakin, or Obi-Wan Kenobi. Or maybe she's the clone of Kylo Ren! Wouldn't that be something.
That lady who's going to be in Rogue One. The main character in Rogue One, also female, could be Rey's mom. Think. It's a definite possibility.
Boring theory: Rey's parents are nobody we know. I don't like this one because it's not exciting.
Snoke: I'm not a total fan of this one either, but some people like it and I guess it could happen.
Mara Jade: a little known character and Luke's wife in the Star Wars comic books. When I saw this one, I thought that it could be true.
There are just so many others. If you have a theory, please send it to this website's email, listed in an earlier blog post. May the force be with you always.
